Limited edition DS 3 cafe Racer revealed with bespoke graphics
DS has opened the buy books on a limited edition ‘Cafe Racer’ version of the DS 3 supermini. just 150 examples are set to arrive in the UK with prices starting at £21,305 and rising to £22,825, with bespoke graphics helping it stick out from the crowd. DS also uses a ladies scarf and a pocket handkerchief for men (in the colours of the roofing no less) to make owners “feel special”.

The cafe Racer graphic, which has been created by Bordeaux-based BMD Design, appears on the roof, along with satellite versions on the b-pillars and boot. There is also a new bonnet badge and exclusive 17-inch Bellone black alloy wheels with cream inserts.
The French maker is using the exclusive DS in four colour combinations: Ink Blue, Perla Nera Black, Platinum Grey and Ruby Red. All models though, will have a Parthenon cream roof.

The cafe Racer edition comes with a choice of two petrol PureTech engines: the 110 (108bhp) and the a lot more powerful 130 (128bhp). Both are used with a manual, however, owners after an automatic will have to clear up for the 110.

Inside, the dashboard is painted in the same cream color with the cafe Racer graphic featuring also. The seats are trimmed in Trinitario brown Nappa (previously seen on the DS 3 ‘DS world Paris’ edition) which links to the colors seen on cafe racer motorbikes.
The tech specs are similar to the slightly a lot more affordable Prestige model, indicating motorists are treated to automatic air conditioning, vehicle parking sensors, automatic wipers and a 7-inch infotainment screen that is compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink.
