Toyota Auris prices and specs verified
In the run-up to its debut at the Paris motor Show, prices and specs for the all-new Toyota Auris have been revealed.
The British-built Auris is available in a choice of four trim levels – Active, Icon, sport and Excel. Entry-level active designs start from £14,495, and comes fitted with air-con, an MP3-compatible stereo and electric windows and mirrors.

Mid-level icon adds 16-inch alloys, a DAB radio, front foglights and a rear-view camera, while Auris sport designs get 17-inch alloys, sports front seats and a rear diffuser. prices for an Auris sport start at £19,245.
Top-spec Excel designs start from £20,245, and also get 17-inch alloys, plus black velour seat upholstery (although leather is an option), climate control, cruise control, and Toyota’s new park assist system.
This is the current version of Toyota’s self-parking system, which scans for areas big enough to get the automobile into, and then parks the automobile for you – the motorist just controls the brakes and accelerator. new for the Auris range, the system can now work out how to park on bends, and can also drive you out of a vehicle parking space as well as into it.
Options include a 2,340mm by 1,280mm panoramic roofing on Excel models, and a comfort pack for Auris sport cars, which includes rain-sensing wipers, dusk-sensing headlights and keyless go.
