Mazda 2 supermini gets range of updates for 2021
Mazda has given the 2 supermini a refresh, on sale from October with prices starting from £16,475. changes include a new look engine line-up and a revised trim structure.
The new 2 retains the current car’s 1.5-litre Skyactive-G petrol motor as the sole engine option. However, a 113bhp variant reappears in the line-up alongside the existing 74bhp and 89bhp units. A six-speed automatic gearbox can be specified with the 89bhp version, but only manual cars receive Mazda’s M hybrid mild-hybrid tech – aside from 74bhp SE-L models.

In SE-L guise, the new 2 is provided with satellite navigation, cruise control, air conditioning and Bluetooth connectivity, with sport trim adding wireless Apple CarPlay.
GT sport cars are equipped with heated seats, a reversing camera, a heated steering wheel and a colour head-up display. For £20,845, the new GT sport tech model brings additional kit that includes adaptive LED headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear smart city braking and a 360-degree parking camera.
