McLaren’s UK carbon-fibre producing facility inaugurated

McLaren is readying its very first producing facility outside of Woking, set to develop carbon-fibre tubs from 2019. The £50m Composites innovation Centre will produce 200 tasks in the Sheffield as well as Rotherham area, as well as is nearing completion.  
The facility will see production of the advanced Monocell as well as Monocage carbon tubs, which underpin every McLaren on sale, move from Austria back to the UK next year.
